Right on the doorstep is Nabq Protectorate, an area of outstanding natural beauty, and a trip to which cannot afford to be missed by any Mangroovy visitor, whether on horse or camel back or by 4-wheel drive.
The world-renowned Ras Mohammed National Park is also close by and can be reached overland by 4-wheel drive or minibus or by sea on a dive or snorkel boat. The Park offers outstanding diving and snorkelling opportunities.
Visitors to the Sinai must also take time to visit St. Catherine’s Monastery and Mt Sinai. Day or overnight trips can be arranged.
Lastly is the protected area of Abu Galum, with its granite mountains which appear to drop away vertically into the sea.
